The Stage Co. recently received a permanent home in the old Varsity Theater in downtown Carbondale. They're still raising funds to cover expenses they'll have when they move in to their new location. This weekend the community theater hosted the Holiday Home Tours.

Heidi Thiel believes in second chances. The decor in her home is built on them. "I see potential in items that others may trash. I find alternate purposes for things," said Thiel, 34, a video specialist for Jefferson County Public Schools.
